Privacy notice
Last updated 10 July 2026
Optara Labs is run by Arham Shuaib, a sole trader trading as Optara Labs, in London. He is the data controller for everything described here. Contact: arham@optaralabs.com. This notice covers two groups: people who visit this site, and businesses contacted by email.
If you visit this site
If you choose to email arham@optaralabs.com, your address and message are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
Booking a walkthrough happens on Calendly. The details you enter there are handled under Calendly's own privacy notice: https://calendly.com/legal/privacy-notice
The hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, pages requested, timestamps — for security. Hosting is provided by Vercel Inc.; these logs are processed under Vercel's own privacy policy and retained only briefly.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
If you received an email from Optara Labs
You were contacted because your company is registered at Companies House as a limited company or LLP, operates an e-commerce store, and this service — bulk product listing production — is directly relevant to that store.
What is held: company name, store domain, business contact details (generic addresses such as info@ are preferred where they exist), public social media handles, and brief notes on your public product pages.
Where it came from: your own website and the public Companies House register. Nothing is bought from data brokers.
Legal basis: legitimate interests under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — a relevant service offered business to business. A legitimate interests assessment is available on request.
Retention: if you do not respond, your details are deleted within six months. If you ask not to be contacted, the minimum needed to honour that — typically the email address alone — is kept on a suppression list indefinitely.
To stop hearing from Optara Labs, reply "stop" to any email. That is enough.
